Your photo
What sort of photo works best?
A phone snap is fine. Upload the face at 1000 x 1000 pixels or bigger, and make sure it is clear and well lit, because that is exactly what gets printed. Avoid heavy shadow across the face, and avoid photos where the person is small in the frame - if you have to squint at it on your phone, it will not improve on a mug.
Do I have to cut the background out myself?
No. The background is removed automatically when you upload. You do not need Photoshop, and you do not need to do anything clever to the photo first.
Can I see it before I buy?
Yes. The preview on the product page is the design, not an approximation. What you see is what gets printed.
Ordering
Is there a discount for more than one?
Any two mugs are 10% off. Any three or more are 15% off. They do not have to be the same design - buy three different mugs for three different people and the discount still applies. It comes off automatically at checkout.
Can I change or cancel after ordering?
Get in touch as soon as you can. Mugs go to print quickly, so the sooner you tell us, the more we can do. Once it has gone to print we cannot pull it back.
Do you do bulk orders for a team or an office?
Yes, and it is one of the things we are best at - a mug each for the whole ward, the whole shift, the whole break room. Get in touch and we will sort it.
Shipping
What does shipping cost?
Free to the USA, the UK, Canada and Europe, with no minimum order and nothing added at checkout.
How long will it take?
Every mug is made to order, so allow a few days for printing on top of the shipping time. Totals are 7-12 business days to the USA, 6-10 to the UK, 5-11 to Canada and 8-17 to Europe. The exact estimate is shown at checkout for your address, and the full table is in our shipping policy.
Where is it printed?
At the print facility closest to you. US orders are printed in the USA, UK orders in the UK, Canadian orders in Canada, and European orders at our partner facilities in Europe - so nothing crosses a border and there are no customs charges or import duties to pay.
The mug itself
What are the specs?
11 oz glossy ceramic. 3.8in (9.7cm) tall, 3.2in (8.1cm) across. The print wraps the body and the handle is on the right.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Dishwasher and microwave safe, both. It is a mug to use, not a mug to keep in a cupboard.
Will the print fade?
The design is sublimated into the surface rather than stuck on top, so it will not peel. Normal use, including the dishwasher, is what it is built for.
If something goes wrong
It arrived damaged.
