coworker-christmas-party-mug
Christmas Party Mug - Personalized Secret Santa Gifts For Friends

Every office has one, and by about half past eight she has the floor to herself. Red Christmas jumper with the snowflakes across the front, green skirt, novelty sunglasses she has not taken off since the Secret Santa, both arms straight up and one finger pointing at the ceiling in a move nobody has attempted since 1978. Her actual face - upload a photo and it goes onto the woman having a better time than everybody else in the building combined.

All the way round the mug the party carries on at its own speed. The desks shoved back against the wall, a boombox balanced on the filing cabinet, somebody in a paper crown still holding a stack of printouts he has completely forgotten about, somebody else playing air guitar with a ruler, gold tinsel strung along the rail and a little tree lit up on the desk. The wall clock says there is a long way to go yet.

<details class="hsm-acc">

How it works

Upload one photo. The background comes off automatically and the face drops into the design, sitting behind the collar so the join never shows and her own hair stays on.

Pictures taken on a phone are always big enough - phone cameras shoot around 3000 x 4000 pixels and we need a minimum size of 1000 x 1000. Pick a clear, well lit one where the face is not small in the frame, and use the original from the camera roll rather than a copy forwarded through a messaging app, which gets shrunk.

A daft face beats a neat one. The joke is the mismatch between a completely straight expression and a body that has committed entirely to the dancefloor.

See the finished mug on screen before you approve and pay.

</details>
<details class="hsm-acc">

What you get

11 oz glossy white ceramic - 3.8in tall, 3.2in across

One wraparound office party scene, with the dancefloor front and centre so the face shows whichever hand she holds it in

Dishwasher and microwave safe

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate - and something for the morning after

Made to order - no warehouse, no mass printing

</details>
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1105/7699/2595/files/coworker-christmas-party-mug-01-in-hand.png?v=1792154785
