doctor-mug
Doctor Mug - Personalized With Any Photo

Personalized Christmas gifts for the doctor in your life, made with their own photo. A chocolate smudge mistaken for something far worse, a bag of hair held up as evidence, two patients with their tongues out, and one who has decided the thermometer must be broken. In the middle of it, a real face on the doctor holding a thermometer bigger than he is. Upload a photo and it becomes the mug that gets brought up in the coffee room for the next ten years.

For the doctor who has heard it all, and the one who is about to. Good for National Doctors' Day on March 30, medical school graduation, the end of a residency, a thank you from a patient, or a retirement after forty years of being told what the internet said.

<details class="hsm-acc">

How it works

Upload one photo. The background comes off automatically and the face drops into the design, sitting behind the collar so the join never shows and their own hair stays on.

Pictures taken on a phone are always big enough - phone cameras shoot around 3000 x 4000 pixels and we need a minimum size of 1000 x 1000. Pick a clear, well lit one where the face is not small in the frame, and use the original from the camera roll rather than a copy forwarded through a messaging app, which gets shrunk.

A daft face beats a neat one. The joke is the mismatch between the expression and the job in hand.

See the finished mug on screen before you approve and pay.

</details>
<details class="hsm-acc">

What you get

11 oz glossy white ceramic - 3.8in tall, 3.2in across

One wraparound waiting room scene, with the doctor front and centre so the face shows whichever hand you hold it in

Dishwasher and microwave safe

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate - whatever gets them through the clinic

Made to order - no warehouse, no mass printing

</details>
